Dear Team Popp Dental Patients and Families,
We are all experiencing unprecedented times with the worldwide Coronavirus outbreak. It is difficult for us all with this interruption to our daily lives and routines. As a health care provider we are foremost concerned with the overall well-being and health of our patients, families and team members. We are temporarily closing our offices to all elective dental and orthodontic care as recommended by the Surgeon General and the American Dental Association. Yes, this is an inconvenience for us all but this viral outbreak should be taken seriously and measures taken to help prevent its spread. We will be closed at least until Monday March 30th and very possibly beyond. We are not rescheduling any appointments at this time but as the situation develops and we know a realistic time to resume normal operation we will contact you to reschedule.
Our doctors will be available to evaluate dental or orthodontic emergencies during this closure but treatment may be limited and all emergencies will be telephone screened by a doctor prior to any office visit. Our offices are not open for any drop-by patient visits and no one but the patient being treated will be allowed in the office. Everyone else MUST remain in their vehicles in the parking lot. When you arrive in the parking lot call our office number and we will have someone escort the patient into the office. After the appointment someone will escort the patient back to the vehicle and provide information about the treatment rendered. If a patient or family member has respiratory symptoms or a fever they should not come to the office for treatment.
Our office team will generally be available to answer questions from 9:00am until 3:00pm Monday- Thursday at 423 870-8787. If we do not answer leave a message or try again later. We are doing all we can to mitigate the inconvenience for patients and families but patience and understanding will be required of us all. Look to our website TeamPoppDental.com and Facebook page for updates. Take care of yourself, your friends and your family.
